Radio Frequency Cavity’s Analytical Model and Control Design

Reduction or suppression of microphonic interference in radio frequency (RF) cavities, such as those used Electron Linear Accelerators, is necessary to precisely control accelerating fields. In this paper, we investigate modeling the cavity a cylindrical shell and present its free vibration analysis along with an appropriate scheme suppress vibrations. To end, first obtain analytical mechanical dynamic model nine-cell using modified Fourier-Ritz method that provides unified solution for systems general boundary conditions. The then verified ANSYS software terms comparison eigenfrequencies which prove be identical proposed model. We also active observer-based dominant modes cavity. system performance investigated simulations.
